WATERTOWN — Mallory Peters, Myles Evans and Kimberlie DiLeonardo each connected for three hits, with Evans delivering a triple and driving in five runs as Watertown’s softball team rolled to a 25-5 victory over Belleville Henderson on Saturday to win the championship game of the Watertown Cyclone Booster Club Tournament at the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds.
DiLeonardo scored five runs and Peters scored for runs for the Cyclones, who led 7-5 through three innings, but responded by generating 18 runs over the next three innings, including four in the fourth.
Payton McConnell tripled and singled for Watertown, which improved to 7-6 on the season, and Julia Marzano singled twice, with both driving in a pair of runs and scoring three runs.
Winning pitcher Layla Rogers and Julia Marzano combined to limit Belleville Henderson (4-6) to six hits.
WATERTOWN 11, HARRISVILLE 4
Naiyssia Weaver hit a two-run single in a pivotal four-run fifth inning for the Cyclones, who went on to defeat the Pirates in the first round of the Watertown Cyclone Booster Club Tournament at the Fairgrounds.
Kenadie Coleman and Weaver each totaled two hits for Watertown, with Coleman and winning pitcher Kimberlie DiLeonardo each scoring three runs.
Myles Evans also hit a triple for the Cyclones.
DiLeonardo went the distance for Watertown, scattering four hits and striking out three.
BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 11, HERMON-DEKALB 8
Eily Vaughn went 2-for-4 and scored two runs to pace the Panthers to victory over the Demons in the first round of the tournament at the Fairgrounds.
Lilly Gillette, Courtney Hanson, and Kaylie Parker each scored two runs for Belleville Henderson and each tallied a hit.
Kadence Millard pitched a complete game to record the win.
HERMON-DEKALB 13, HARRISVILLE 4
Eight different players hit safely for the Green Demons in a victory against the Pirates in the tournament’s consolation game at the Fairgrounds.
Lauren Holland singled twice, drove in two runs and scored three times and winning pitcher Maya Green drove in two runs and scored two runs for Hermon-DeKalb and Hailey Brabant scored three runs)
Ava Bearor singled twice for Harrisville.
ALEXANDRIA 10, SACKETS HARBOR 8
The Purple Ghosts scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to down the Patriots in a Frontier League “D” Division game in Sackets Harbor.
Winning pitcher Faith Watson tripled, singled and scored two runs for Alexandria (2-5) and Paityn Bridenbaker homered and drove in three runs and Abigail Edgar homered, knocked in two runs and scored three runs.
Myah Matice homered and drove in three runs for Sackets Harbor (7-2) and Peyton Britton tripled, singled and scored three runs.
SOUTH JEFFERSON 8, FULTON 4
Colleen Davis pitched a complete game, striking out 13, and also doubled, singled twice and knocked in a run as the Spartans defeated the Red Dragons in a nonleague game in Fulton.
Bryanna Moroughan tripled, singled, drove in two runs and scored two runs for South Jefferson (10-1) against Fulton (2-9).
MCGRAW 10, GENERAL BROWN 9 (8)
Remmington Stull went 4-for-4, including two doubles, and scored three runs and Josslyn Eaton scored the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Eagles (4-5) edged the Lions (4-6) in nonleague game in McGraw.
Also in nonleague play, Fayetteville-Manlius blanked Indian River, 8-0.
BASEBALL
WATERTOWN 7, INDIAN RIVER 3
Winning pitcher Daniel Maurer scattered six hits, striking out six and walking seven to back the Cyclones to an “A-B” Division victory against the Warriors in Philadelphia.
Grayden Decker doubled twice and drove in two runs and Preston Soluri doubled for Watertown (7-3, 5-1) against Indian River (0-7).
LOWVILLE 7, SANDY CREEK 5
Logan Watson tossed a four-hitter, striking out eight and walking two and also tripled and drove in a run at the plate as the Red Raiders topped the Comets to win a nonleague game in Lowville.
Zane Zustra doubled and knocked in a run for Lowville (4-5).
Tyler Trumble pitched a five-hitter, striking out five, for Sandy Creek (5-4) and Jaeden Darling doubled and singled.
RFA 5, SOUTH JEFFERSON 0
Michael Flint fired a no-hitter, striking out seven and walking one to propel the Black Knights (6-4) past the Spartans to win a nonleague game in Rome.
Pitchers Adam Denehy and Derek Rice combined to limit the opposition to five hits for South Jefferson (6-1).
MEXICO 11, CARTHAGE 8
Hansen, Evan went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs to pace the Tigers (5-4) past the Comets to win a nonleague game in Carthage.
Bryce Fordemwalt doubled, singled and knocked in three runs for Carthage (6-5) and Shay Sinitere doubled and singled.
PULASKI 10, BEAVER RIVER 3
Jesse Fiumano went 2-for-3, including a double, and drove in three runs and Rowen Beattie doubled and singled to pace the Blue Devils (9-1) past the Beavers to win a nonleague game in Beaver Falls.
Carter Rice singled and drove in a run to lead Beaver River (7-4).

Mulcahy, Blair went 3-for-4, including two triples and a double, and drove in four runs to propel the Eagles (8-2) past the Lions to win a nonleague game in McGraw.
Lucas Doldo went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs for General Brown (4-5) and Jackson Ward doubled.

Braeden Davis hit a home run and drove in three runs, and Lukas Schieferstein hit a grand-slam home run and totaled five RBIs as the host Vikings (4-4) defeated the Red Knights (1-10) in a nonleague gam.

The Pirates blanked the Golden Knights (3-10) to win a nonleague game in Copenhagen.

Logan Kingston struck out 10 without issuing a walk and retired the first 13 batters before the Larries gained a base runner on a hit by pitch and the Yellowjackets went on to record a Northern Athletic Conference victory. Caleb Averill singled and doubled to lead Madrid-Waddington’s offense, which also featured a double from Cole Smith.
LISBON 36, CLIFTON-FINE 11
Lucas Gravlin doubled and singled and Isaiah White doubled and singled twice, with both driving in as the Golden Knights defeated the Eagles in NAC play.
Gabe Smith singled twice and doubled for Lisbon and Will Pirie delivered three singles and three RBIs and Tom O’Brien singled three times to drive in two runs and scored seven runs.
HARRISVILLE 16, EDWARDS-KNOX 4
Tanner Sullivan delivered three singles and a double and Nolan Sullivan singled three times for Pirates and Aiden Chartrand came through with three hits to contribute to an NAC win over the Cougars.
Winning pitcher Joe Sheperd, Connor Mantle, Brendan Loos, Lucas Schrodt and Jackson Jenack all singled.
Andrew Bowman singled and doubled for Edwards-Knox and Kyle Reif doubled.

INDIAN RIVER 21, MARCELLUS 9
Michaela Delles totaled 13 points, including generating nine goals, to propel the Warriors past the Mustangs to win a nonleague game in Philadelphia.
Ravan Marsell totaled eight points of her own, including five goals, and secured 13 draw controls for Indian River (8-2) and Allison LaMora scored three goals and assisted on four others.
Kallie Delles contributed two goals and an assist for the Warriors, who built a 10-6 lead through the first half.
Goalie Cora Russell made seven saves to post the win against Marcellus (8-4).
SOUTH JEFFERSON 10, BALDWINSVILLE 6
Savannah Hodges and Lily Morrison each scored two goals and assisted on another and Hannah Hathway supplied two goals as the Spartans defeated the Bees in nonleague game in Baldwinsville.
Brooke Perry tallied a goal and an assist for South Jefferson(9-2) and Chloe Elmer secured a team-high five draw controls.
Goalie Anna Hobbs made eight saves to record the win for the Spartans.
Lea Otts scored two goals to lead Baldwinsville (1-11).
GENERAL BROWN 9, CLINTON 4
Alivia Cross and Cameryn Case each totaled two goals and two assists to pace the Lions past the Raiders to win a nonleague game in Dexter.
Tricia Price generated three goals for General Brown (5-5) and Natalia Uscio recorded a pair of assists.
Goalie Kaydance Clookey made seven saves to record the win.
Leah Altieri and Dakota Deveans each tallied a pair of goals for Clinton (4-6).
WEST GENESEE 7, WATERTOWN 4
Mia Gialto generated four goals to pace the Wildcats to victory over the Cyclones in a nonleague game in Watertown.
Payton Jeffery contributed two goals for West Genesee (11-2) and goalie Allie Hanlon made 13 saves to register the win.
Alex Macutek scored three goals and assisted on another for Watertown (6-3) and Amalia Netto tallied two goals and an assist. Goalie Lilah Beirl finished with nine saves.
BOYS LACROSSE
LOWVILLE 13, HOLLAND PATENT 5
Will Vokey generated eight points, including scoring five goals, to propel the Red Raiders to a road victory against the Golden Knights in a nonleague game.
Jack Rowsam supplied three goals for Lowville (5-6) and Zane Metzler and Henry Goss each scored a pair of goals.
WEST GENESEE 11, WATERTOWN 7
Nolan Bellotti scored three goals and Gary McLane tallied two goals and two assists to pace a balanced effort as the Wildcats defeated the visiting Cyclones in a nonleague game.
Chace Cogan chipped in with two goals and an assist for West Genesee (10-2) and Nash Oudemool supplied a pair of goals.
Goalie Owen Coleman, Owen made 14 saves for the Wildcats, who built a 7-3 advantage through the first half.
Jack Adams generated two goals and two assists for Watertown (9-2) and goalie Norman Cushman finished with 15 stops.
CICERO-NORTH SYRACUSE 14, INDIAN RIVER 6
Chaney, Donovan tallied three goals and an assist and Adrian Sweeney contributed two goals and two assists to spark the Northstars past the Warriors to win a nonleague game in Cicero.
Cy Liberman chipped in with a goal and three assists for Cicero-North Syracuse (9-3).
McMahon, Zachary scored three goals to lead Indian River (5-7), Brady Lynch and Connor McMahon each chipped in with a goal and an assist and goalie Aaron Russell finished with nine saves.
JORDAN-ELBRIDGE 18, IMMACULATE HEART 5
Nixon Karcz recorded 11 points, including generating four goals, to propel the Eagles past the Cavaliers to win a nonleague game in Watertown.
Wyatt Werth contributed four goals and an assist for Jordan-Elbridge (6-5).
Trey Ledoux scored three goals to pace Immaculate Heart Central (0-9), Jakob Amidon tallied a pair of goals and Connor Loving distributed three assists. Goalie Brayden Hanlin finished with 11 saves.
Also in nonleague play, visiting Thousand Islands defeated Utica Proctor, 18-7.
